Why Would Someone Want To Commit Suicide???

When someone commits suicide i feel like they weren't happy and i haven't done enough for them or didn't make them happy enough.. My uncle committed suicide but he was taking pills and made him really depressed and he was tired of it. He had just ate dinner with us that night and left our house at 10 o'clock at night, my mom and I thought about telling him to spend the night but he wanted to go home... Another time was a guy at this school committed his life, nobody really knows why but when i saw them he was happy as can be... It just doesn't make sense...... Sometimes they do it because they're depressed, bullies, harassed, or just were happy enough.. But whatever they do its in God's eyes, and he's the only one that really knows whats going to happen.

    I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle. Suicide is a serious and very sad issue. It's one of the leading causes of death in teens and young adults. There are a lot of things that can attribute to the development of depression. When people get depressed, sometimes their depression worsens to the point where they don't see a way out and feel like suicide is the only solution. Even if someone seems happy on the surface, they may be hiding just how depressed they feel. That's why it's important to talk to someone if you're ever feeling depressed, and if you ever know someone who is battling depression, make sure they know that you are there for them if they ever need to talk. It's also important that we teach students that making fun of people and bullying others is wrong and explain to them just how much harsh words can affect someone.
